(RKDTJR'S TELSORAM.) PEKIN, 24th June. Mr. Jamieson, the British. Consul-Gen-eral at Canton, addreYsed a Note to the Bureau of. Foreign Affairs, stating that he is reliably informed that the students iv the - patriotic demonstrations to-mor-row'intend to make martyrs of themselves by attacking the bridges. leading to the Shameen, and that students at the University of Kwangtung have been chosen by lot for the work. . He warns the Government of Kwangtung that any attempt at the Shameen will be resisted by'force of arms, and the Government will be held responsible for any consequences. The blood of the victims will be on their own heads.
