BRITISH BOWLERS
VISIT DEFINITELY ARRANGED.
The following cablegram was received by Mr. R. W. Shallcrass, secretary of the Dominion Bowling Association, this morning front Mr. Hamilton, secretary of the International Board, Edinburgh :—"lnternational Board accepts Dominion Bowling Council's invitation party of 41 players and 12 ladies leaving for Australia 25th September, reaching Now Zealand towards end of December, for six weeks.—(Signed) Hamilton.'' This is the first official intimation received in New Zealand with respect to the proposed visit, the previous correspondence, which was unofficial, having been conducted with Mr. Mel. Orchard, a former New Zealand bowler, now residitig in London, who lias taken a great interest in promoting the trip. Mr. Shallcrass lias replied heartily confirming the proposed tour, and offering to make all preparations for tho party's enjoyment of the trig through New Zealand.
