OPINION OF DOMINIONS
EMPIRE POLICY MUST. CONFORM.
(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABIB ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 25th June. Among the references in the debate to _ the Dominions, Mr. Robert Hudson said that Britain must see 1 that her 'foreign policy was such that if ever she had to_ fight again for a good cause the Dominions of their own free will'would support her, as in 1914. Mr. Percy Hurd said the Empire's policy must be fashioned in sympathy with the feelings oE the Dominions. Commander Bellairs said it was .essential that the- Dominions should be with us." The alliance, of the British Commonwealth was infinitely more important than any pact. • In reply to Mr. T. Shaw (Labour) Mr. Chamberlain stated: ""We have had no communication from Australia or . Canada expressing a definite opinion against the Pact."
