FREE KINDERGARTEN
BROOKLYN BRANCH OP ASSOCIATION.
A body of enthusiastic Brooklyn ladies and gentlemen, comprising tho 1925 committee, have determined Lo advance the kindergarten movement in their midst. To this end certain efforts of a various nature will be organised, and there will appear in "The Post" from tiir.o to time reports concerning the progress made. The first function by this committee was brought to'a very successful conclusion on Saturday evening last, when a euchre, and dance was held in St. Matthew's Hall. For this success the committee acknowledges "with grateful thanks the donations of certain business firms, the splendid assistance rendered by a host of ladies and gentlemen, and the fine response accorded the. effort by the Brooklyn residents.
In a few weeks a dance will be held, when everything will be arranged on a bigger and better scale. The immediate aim of the committee is to raise sufficient funds to provide additional teachers and better accommodation. A large number of children is on tho waiting list, am?
