(SI miOKASH.—PRESS ASSOCIATIOH.) ' ' GREYMOUTH, 25th June. General Meldrum, of the New Zealand Mounted Rifles, has received from General Sir Philip CheUvode, Chief of the Imperial Staff, and formerly commanding the Desert Mounted Corps, the following cabelgram:—"Reunion dinner of officers of the British and Indian units, Desert Mounted Rifle Corps, greet New Zealand Mounted Rifle comrades." The following reply has been sent to General Chetwode:—"Many thanks. Am communicating your message to all members of the brigade."
