The results of the matches were as follow, Paekakariki players being named first:—H. N. Scott lost to G. Berry 3 and 2; R. S. ■ Kent beat W. D. Cooke, 2 up ; J. Harding lost to D. Cody 2 and 1 ; W.. Smith beat A. S. Butler! .7 and 5; L. Smith lost to B. A. Heginbotham, 4 and 3; E. Upham beat R. L. King, 5 and 3; L. Brodie beat W. Morton. 7 and 6; 11. B. Tomlinson beat 0. M. Banks, 2 up.; R. C. Brien beat E. M. Prinkhurst, 2 up; F. Smith beat J. A. Ronald, 1 up. The ladies' results were:—Miss "V. TJpham lost to Miss Newman, 3 and. 2; Miss G.
