SOME EFFECTIVE SCREENS

Tho multiple-fold screen, which for some unaccountable reason has been out of vogue recently, is now being featured py the leading decorators, aaya a writer in an exchange. ! Screens of old Spanish leather a.re among the most • decorative. Naturally ! these are not always the "real thing/1 but they are marvellously good imitations m thick paper. On the rich brown j ground of one of these screens are ' raised roses and tulips, in deep reds and yellows, looking as if centuries had matured their colouring.
