SERIOUS ACCIDENT
MOTOR-CAR AND LORRY COLLIDE THREE PEOPLE INJURED. (BI TELEGRAPH.—rnESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A collision occurred at Epsom between a lorry driven by James Anderson and a. five-seater car driven by Arthur Hughes. The car .overturned several limes, and the lorry fell on its side, and cases were scattered in all directions. Three occupants of the car. Mrs. Christina. Thorpe. ! her daughter Ruth (two and a half years), and Ernest J. Ilollobin (34) were taken to the hospital. The latter sustained a fracture of the skull. The extent of Mrs. Thorpe's injuries- is' not ascertumable, ponding an X-ray examination. The daughter suffered abrasions of the limbs. The car is a total wreck.
