The work of the evening consisted, of an address by the tutor, who dealt, witn a number of logical fallacies; a brief- address by a member of the class, _Mr. T. Garrat; individual reading of newspaper- editorials; criticism of reading by tutor; use of certain words, phrases, etc., contained in passages read.
