CHRISTCHURCH, 4th May. Heavy rain from the south-west set in early this morning, and continued without a. break until early in the .afternoon, and 1.14 inches had fallen up to noon. The fall in the tempera:ture,had been considerable, and a, fairly heavy fall of snow is reported from the back country. Part of the township of Little River, which suffered in a recent flood, is again- flooded.
