(BEUTBR'S TBUGRAU.) (Received sth May, 11 a.m.) CAPETOWN, 4th May. Speaking in the Assembly, Mr. Haveuga, Minister of Finance, announced that Britain would get the most-fav-oured-nation treatment under the new tariff.

"Most-favoured-uation" treatment is accorded when a provision is included in a treaty or agreement conferring upon the favoured nation automatically any advantages which may be specially granted to any other nation.
