JOHNSONVILLE v. PETONE.
Johnsonville met Petone at Anderson Park gaining a 4-1 win. In tho first spell Johnsonville had things very much their own way, keeping Petone on tho defensive for the greater part of the time. Matthews found tho net twice. After the change-round Petone took a turn at the attack and pressed stoutly. They succeeded only once, however, in getting through, and Johnsonville, again asserting themselves, added a couplo more goals, the final scores being Johnsonville 4, Petone 1. Mr. E. Watts refereed.
