AUCKLAND, This Day. ' Captain George Meager, of Auckland, has been offered, by cable, an appointmen in the Air Service between Britain arid Australia. He was attached to the Airship Branch during the war, and brought a number of airships from Italy to England. He received British and Italian decorations.
