PLUNKET SOCIETY
ROOM AT NORTHLAND
Through the efforts of the Northland Progressive Association the Phinket Society has succeeded in establishing a room in the district, and the Methodist Church of Northland has kindly lent its schoolroom for this purpose. The room' is to be opened on Thursday, 7th May, at 3 p.m.. and will be available on each succeeding Thursday to enable mothers and babies to receive proper and intimate attention privately. Mothers may also rest there if they wish to. J
Nurse Miller, who is well known to Northland mothers, will be in attendance to gi ve f ree a{ j v ice on behalf of tho Phinket Society.
The fact that motheis will be able to receive sound, sympathetic advice, and help, under conditions that ensure privacy and inspire confidence, will be much appreciated in the district.
