SHORTT'S THEATRE.

A picturisation pf Rachel Barton Butler s prize play,-'■ "Mamma's ' Affair," which scored a big hit on the New' York stage last season, has been made with Constance Talmadge as thp star, and will bo shown at Shprtt's Theatro tpday. This sparkling play has lost none of its vital theme and characterisation, its charm and wit, its original incident in tho screen translation. Indeed it makes a most attractive picture for the expression of Miss Talinadge's vivid personality. The picture permits the star to appear in a role which is a departure from the serio-comic figures of previous features. It abounds in sentiment and heart interest, and is well acted. The supports include William Desmond in ■"Ridin' Pretty," a Western film. ' '
