tit. ■. £ YlmEY > 21st April. The Equity Court at Sydney has granted a writ of attachment against Jacob Johannsen, assistant secretary of the Seamen's Union, for alleged contempt of court. The application was made by Thomas Campbell, ship's Teaser and a member of the original Fordsdale crew, who asked for the issue of a writ as statements by Johannsen tnat -ne was not a member. of the Seamen s Union had prevented him obtaining employment. Campbell had previously been granted an injunction against ofhcials of the union restraining them from declaring that he was not a member of the union.
