, >>ie directors of the Wellington Deposit, Mortgage, and Building Association, Ltd., state in their- report and balance-sheet for the year ended 31st March 1925, that tho net profit on the year a business is £2,269 11s 9d, which added to £761 9s Id brought forward trom last year,' makes a total of £3031 0s lOd. An interim dividend of 3 per cent, absorbing an amount of £750 for the half-year ended 30th September 1924, was declared and paid on Ist .November last, leaving a balance of £2281 0s lOd now available. The directors recommend that this sum bo applied as follows:—The payment of a further dividend of 4 per cent., which will absorb £1000, making 7 per cent, for the year ended 31st.March, 1925; a sum of £400 to be placed to tho reserve account (which will then stand at £4150) • and the balance, £881 Os.lOd, to be carried forward to next year's account. Two cfirccto'rs, Messrs. W. H. -P. Bari per-and W. -Watson, retire, and., being eligible, offer themselves'for're-election! The retiring auditors, Messrs. .J. If. (J-. 'Rowley and \t,. E! A. Gill, offer themf selves for re-election.
