At the conclusion of the meeting of the Petone'. and Lower Hutt Gas Lighting Board last evening the chairman (Mr. W. G. Lodder) expressed his pleasure at the cordial relations which had existed between himself and the members of the board and the staff. The members had taken a. keen interest, in the business of the board, and the staff had been unfailing in its efforts to further the work entrusted to them. Each member of the b-iurd thanked the chairman for courtesy .extended to him. On the motion of the chairman the secretary was asked to convey to each member of both office and. manufacturing staff the tbankl of the board for the work they had accomplished.
