LOADING EASTERN" CARGO. The Union Company has been notified that the steamer Sussex left Saraarang on 14th April for Singapore to complete loading for haw Zeala.ncT ports. The vessel is expected to clear Singapore this week. CARGO PROM LIVERPOOL. The Federal S.N. Co. has been advised that the Norfolk left Liverpool on I,3th April with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. and Duuedin. She is due at Auckland on 2lith May, and at Wellington about a week .later. THE CANADIAN CONQUEROR. The Canadian Government Line steamer Canadian Conqueror leaves Lyttelton to-day for Timaru, Dunedin, Bluff, and Wellington. She is due at Wellington on 30th April, and after taking in cargo here proceeds to Auckland, from which port she is expected to sail finally on utli .May for Now York, Boston, and Montreal. , TONGARIRO FROM LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Co. is in receipt of cable advice that the- Tongariro, en route from London, cleared Panama on 18th April for Auckland, Port Chalmers, Bluff, and New Plymouth. PICTON SERVICE. In order that she may be placed on the Patent Slip at Wellington for cleaning and painting, the Union Company's steamer Arahura is to omit her usual trip from Picton to Wellington on Saturday. The vessel will, however, make a trip from Picton to Wellington on Friday evening, leaving the southern port at 6.30 o'clock. The Arahura will leave Wel- : lington for Picton as usual, at 1.15 p.m. on Friday, but her sailing time from here on Monday has been altered to midnight. TEKOA AT LONDON. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company has received cable advice that the Tekoa arrived at London ou Saturday, from Auckland. PERSONAL. Captain L. C. H. Worrall has been appointed master of the Makura, and Captain ■J. Mawson has taken over command of the Maunganui. Captain H. S. Whyborn has been appointed temporary master of the Moeraki, and his officers are:—Chief, Mr. W. Whitefleld; second, Mr. F. W. Gibson; third, Mr. K. E Suckling; fourth, Mr. R. Duffner. Captain A. It.
