Dr. Pickenll, of Dunedin, who brought one of his sons to the Waitaki Boys' High School to-day, was surprised to find on arrival that the Health Department had made no provision for students presenting medical certificates before bein| admitted to the school. Dr FickenU felt so strongly upon the subject that he dispatched a telegram to the Director-General of Health protesting against sudents being permitted to enter secondary schools without such certificates.
