MOTHERCRAFT
A WORTHY HOME.
At the luncheon of the Wellington Rotary Club to-day Dr. W. E. Herbert referred to the effort hei^; made to raise funds for the mothercraft home of the Plunket Society, and said that everywhere the committee of the club had gone they had met with sympathy, not to say a certain amount of enthusiasm. It was, he added, a great work. He asked every Rotarian to send in to him, or to Mr. E. W. Hunt, the amount he felt disposed to give. The committee desired to know by the end of the week the amount tho Rotary Club would start with. They desired to show their practical sympathy in the great movement. After that, they would be able to go to the public and organise the .fund ; and he had not tho slightest doubt they would receive a good' response. It was a wonderful work, a real call, an urgent call, and if everybody in Wellington got together they would get a home in which the work would be adequately dons and which would be a credit to Wellington.
