Toll funds realised from .the.sale of poppies will be devoted to assisting those who have been disabled, of whom there are still many who requiro help. There is no better memorial to the dead than to help the living, especially to help those who really require aid in this direction. The wearing of a poppy on Friday will denote not only remembrance of those who are gone, but a desire to help those who have returned maimed. Rose Day was » great, success, the funds on that occasion being devoted to a memorial to the dead Poppy Day is to be a memorial to tho living. In order to make the day tho success it ought to be. a large muster of helpers zs required, and thoso willing to assist, are requested to notify the organisers as soon as possible. Above all, everyone is asked to "Buy a poppy for remembrance."
