ELECTION OF OFFICERS.
At the annual general meeting of members, held last night, it was announced that His Excellency Sir Charles Fergusson had graciously accepted office of "Ariki Nui" (chief of chiefs) for theensuing season. The following executive was elected -.—Chief Savage, James Hislop; vice-presidents, E. A. Blnndell, Marcus Marks, G. W. Mapnas, and A. W. Newton; council, g, J. Anderson, .f. -P. Carr, S. Dean, .T. A. Doberty, Dr.. D. N. Isaacs, M. King, A. V. HaloMoTiro, and G. F. Wilson; musical director. Frank Thomas; treasurer. Captain V. G. Jer^isj auditor, C. WL
