THE EMPIRE, ISLAND BAY.

Tho new theatre, The Empire, at Island Bay, will be opened on Saturday next, at 7.30 p.m. Jupp's Band will play outside the theatre at 7 o'clock. The Mayor will perform the official opening at 7.30. The chief picture to be shown will be "The Last of the Duanes," one of the best of the William Fox many fine pictures. There will be, in addition, an exhibition of fancy dancing which should please. Intending patrons would be well advised to attend early.
