MAIMOA'S DEPARTURE

DELAYED BY FIREMEN.

Owing to the non-appearance of three firemen at scheduled sailing time yesterday, the departure of the Shaw,*Savill liner Mairnoa from Wellington for Napier had to be postponed until to-day. The vessel left the wharf at 5.25 o'clock last evening, and proceeded to the stream, where she vemained at anchor for the night. As there was no sign of the missing men this morning, fresh labour was engaged, and the shir) left for Napier at 11.30 a.m. The Maimoa is at present loading in New Zealand for London and Hamburg.
