TAURANGA, Ihis Day. Mr. H. E. Holland, Leader of the Parliamentary Labour Paity, anived lieie from Thames yestcidjy afternoon, and addressed ,i ciowded meeting in the Town Hall in tha,evening. The Mayor, Mr. B. Dive, piesided. Mr. Holland met with a good reception, and outlined the platfoun of the Labour Party, dealing with various matters in detail, paiticularly the land question, and stated that the party's land legislation would be directed flist towards reducing interest. State depots would be set up in various centres to market primary pioducts. Ho maintained that the land and income tax reductions last session benefitted the wealthy man, and not the small farmer: He advocated the establishment of a S^ate shipping line, and a State bank, claiming that a financial dictatorship was operating to-day in the Dominion.; The Labour Party" ■■.would strike a national levy for reduction of the National Debt.' .
