LOAN FROM THE GOVERNMENT.

, / ■; DTJNEDIN, This Day* The president of the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition has received the following telegram from Sir Francis Bell:—"Cabinet has agreed to lend £30,000 without interest, in addition to the two grants of £25,000, already pi»yided.. The condition of the loan is thlffc it has priority to any refund of oapitaj to shareholders or donors. I'trugt this will enable your plans to be carried out,, but in any case it should be understood that the Government cannot make a further contribution. .
