TILDEN'S CRITICISMS.

Tilden criticised at the annual meeting of the United States Lawn Tennis Association the Davis Cup Committee, and proposed a resolution that ■ hereafter the players of the American team be notified at least 21 days before the time scheduled for them to take the courts, contending that this time is absolutely necessary, especially in the case of doubles. , The resolution was passed.
