OLD NAVALS RIFLE CLUB

The Old Xavale Rifle Club fired their second match for the third series and long range aggregata at Trentham on Saturday with two shoots of ten shots each at 1000 yards. The weather conditions were very unfavourable, a very choppy wind, with a bad mirage, and the competitors were fortunate who put all their shots on the target. Riflemau F. Renton topped the list with 77, 39 and 38, which, on the day, was a very good performance. Rifleman Pitt made best range score—4o at his second attempt. Details are as follow:—
