SYDNEY, This Day. A deputation from the Watersiders' Federation waited on the Attorney-Gen-eral, Hon. T. 11. Bavin, regarding the dispute on the waterfront upon the question of preference. The nature of the discussion was not officially disclosed. Responsible members of the federation later expressed the view that the negotiations of tho Committee of Management have shown that only direct action would be oiTectivo in securing the abolition of the Waterside Labour Exchange.
