DAMAGED BY FIRE
A call was received by the Firo Brigade at 9.10 o'clock lust'evening to premises at No. 51 Dixon street, occupied by Edward and George Adams hat renovators. The rear portion of the shop, and the contents, were badly damaged The contents, were insured in the Atliis office for £600, and the buildiiu; was injured in the Northern Office for £12,000.
Ihe body which was recovered from the harbour yesterday aftefnoon has keen identified as that of ISernnrd Burns, n seafarer, 52 years ot hrc. ■ An inquest is to be held.
