The trial of Gniseppa .Lamacchia on charges' of assault, attempted rape, and indecent assault was concluded at the Supreme Court yesterday. The jury retired at■ • 12^20 and returned two hours later witti a verdict of guilty on ttie charge of indecent assault, and i»t guilty on tho other, counts. Prisonef was-remanded for sentence until BatuH day.' The.Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) presided. Mr, P. S. :K. Macassey appeared for the Crown, and prisoner was represented by Mr. C. A.
