PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

■ Ad excellent double-feature programme is being shown at the Paramount .Lheatre this week. The first film is the bin Flood, an amazing story of Cottonia, a city of gambling and vice, where tortunes were made and lost overnight on cotton as.it fluctuates on the Stock Exchange. Richard Dix, Helene Chadwick, James Kirkwood, and Ralph NLewis arc the stars in a mostsensational film. The second feature ( lho Ragged Edge," deals with the,doings of a young girl, who through the death of her parents has been sent out into-the world for the first time. Alum , Palermi has a charmin^ part to play as the orphan girf and Alfred Lunt has the leading masculine rcle. Thero are good supports, and attractive incidental music is rendered by the Paramount Orchestra.
