The retirement of : Mr. Francis Egerton Bryant, manager of the Sydney branch of the Union Bank of Australia, Ltd., on 31st December, terminated a career of almost 50 years in the service of the bank-. Mr. Bryant filled many important post*. He was manager in Sydney for ten years, and before that he was manager at Christchurch.
