FEILDING, 16tli January. At the Feilding sale to-day large yardings of ■ lambs, sheep, and cattle came forward. Some very good rape lambs were yarded, and sold very well tho top price being 29s for the ■ line l*ood woolly black faces, medium lambs, irregular but small, and cull iambs made very, good prices. Medium quality grown sheep were neglected, tmt a few pens of good sheep r/ere keenly competed for. A hill yarding of fat cattle sold under keen competition, and there was a demand for all store cattle.

Fat ewes, 26s Id, 28s 3d, 31s 3d: light fat wethers, 355, 38s; fat, black faces, 29s 9d, 335; shorn white face wether lambs (good), 23s 8d; medium ditto, 17s 4d, 18s sd, 18s 6d; small mixed sex lambs, 15s Od, 16s 3d-, culls, 10s 6d, 13s 7d: shorn black face rape lambs, 25s 9d, 24s 6d; medium ditto 19s sd; small, X7s 3d; culls. 13s; blackface woolly rape lambs, 28s Sd, 295; medium. 20s 6d, 21s, 23s 7d; small, 19s 10d 16s 4d; small very ;se.edy ditto, 17s 4d; very seedy small woolly white face lambs, 16s od; medium ditto, IBs 3d. A line of very line Romney two-toothed ewes made'4os; small two-tooths, 28s 4d, 28s 9d; small two-tooth wethers, 29s 3d, 29s lOd. A line of 500 good Romney two-tooth wethers, 35s 6d; medium four-tooth ewes. 38s; store ewes, 14s sd, 15s 6d, 24s 6d; m.a. breeding ewes, fair sheep, wore passed in at 31s lOd. ,Good fat heifers, £9 ; prime cows, £8 5s £9 15s : light ditto, £4 15s to £7; light fat bullocks £7 10s, £9. 9s, £11; eighteen months steers, £3 9s; mixed coloured Iwo-year steers, £5 7s 6d ; three-year Hereford steers in fair condition. £7 3s; mixed coloured ditto in good condition, £7 15s; three-year p.a.- steers passed in at £8. A lino of mixed coloured big bullocks in fair condition sold at £7 7s.
