ARRANGEMENTS AT TRENTHAM.
Occasion will be taken at luncheon in the members' room on Tuesday bo celebrate the official opening of .the new. grandstand, which is all but completed. His Excellency the Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, will be the principal speaker. .' t Immediately the. Wellington Cup has been ' decided- the handsome gold cup, given to the club by Mr. E. L. Biddiford, will be presented, to the winning owner on the lawn in front of .the I Governor's b0x.,.-. • .. .-■■.■■ • ■"•;'." -
Motorists are notified that, a special paddock has been provided at the racecourse for parking cars. Cars cannot now be parked on the Camp road or the road leading to the railway station. Another large tea room has been provided in the main grandstand—entrance down' the staircase from the back of the seating. The room is commodious and nicely fitted up. fi ■ ■ [ Another innovation has been introduced in the' totalisator arrangements;' 10s tickets can now be:purchased ori_£he' grandstand,' quite close, to the seating. The roof of the new grandstand "is now available' for -the ' general public-r-nb extra, charge being made to' lawn patrons. The view of the .course and surroundings from this vantage point is unsurpassed. '.'■■'
