The prosecution staged that he had a secret room, where he told friends that he wished to blow up the Town Hall, when the City Council wbs sitting, and then the power stations. When the city was iv darkness, the Communists.would loot shops. Much Communist literature advocating violence, for political purposes was found m his room. Gibson, when caught on the quay with the explosives, said'that he intended to dump them }n the river. He wai reminded.
