The weekly -shipping journal "Fairplay states that negotiations are practically completed for the sale of the fleet of 17 steamers managed by the Blue Star Line of London on behalf of the Union Cold Storage Company. The vessels are all fitted with refrigerating machinery of a * carrying capacity of nearly 150,000 tons deadweight. The deal involves some millions sterling, and is the largest of its kind in recent years. Brjtjsh v shipping interests engaged in the South American trade are believed to be the prospective purchasers. ..'.'..
