THE YEAR'S. FIGURES. !;:^; The Customs revenue collected at tii« port of Wellington in the ■-. twelve", months which ended on Wednesday ..last show marked increases .over corresponding periods in the previous four years owing to greater .importations. .There has been a. steady rise in revenue in the pastifour years, and the end of the 1923----24 financial year brought with it a rej cord return, the total ; collections. I amounting to £2.095,108; Nine months' : of the 1924-2S financial year, have now i passed, and £1,616,517 have already been i collected. July and September, when ; drapers imported their summer stocks, I were outstanding months. j Beer duty for the December quarter ! shows a slight increase on ths precedI ing figures, and it has risen by £6819 on the twelve months' figures. •'• ■ Following are the detailed returns of' Customs revenue and beer, duty:— ■..:' .
