ELDERLY MAN KILLED.

As' the Paekakariki train which readies Thorndon at 7.30 a.m. was approaching^ a tunnel near Khandallah this morning, an elderly man was found lying beside the rails. His head, body, and legs were badly injured, and it was evident iliat he> ha.d either fallen off a train or had been run over. He was taken with all speed to the Hospital, hut died on the way. His identity has not been established.
