RECAPTURED BY SPANIARDS

(Received 18th December, 9 a.m.) MADRID, 17th December. General de Rivera, telegraphing from ietnan, denies that a disaster has occurred, and says the rebels are spreading lies. He isserts that Seguer was betrayed by the natives, and will immediately be recaptured; and the whole situation will be cleared up in a month. A later message states that Seguer has been recaptured.
