PAHIATUA, This Day. Through a motoi accident al Campbell's Gully, Kaitawa, Rinemoa road, yesterday afternoon, J. J. France, postmaster at Eketahuna, was seriously injured, and is in a critical condition in the local hospital. The .car went over a bank. Other occupants .were H. Scott, post office chauffeur, Wellington, and H M'Gill, senior clerk, General Post Office, Wellington. The former suffered a flesh wound on the thigh, -and M'Gill a few bruises. It was a very wet day, and at a dangerous bend the steerinngear failed to respond. M'Gill had been sent out by the Department to take an independent ballot of settlers regarding the Pahiatua-Eketahuna ruraf delivery. .
