' The honorary treasurer (Mr. G. Mi£ chell) desires to thank most...sincerely all those who have contributed to this1 most deserving case. It is proposed to ask two prominent women to undertake the expenditure of this money on behalf of the committee in the best permanent interest of the family. Those who have! so. generously contributed have, the sati isfaction of knowing that the widow and four little fatherless babies will have a happier Christmas through their generous help.
