The centre of the disturbance has remained stationary off the West Coast since yesterday morning, while pressure lias increased further in the South. Conditions have continued cold and unsettled with rain generally,- und heavy ram has fallen in tjie central districts and along the east coast Strong south-east winds have predominated southward of New Plymouth and-Namer, and westerlies northwards. 4
