(BY TELEORAPH.—PRE3S ASSOCIATION.) , AUCKLAND, This Day. The weather was fine for training operations at Ellerslie this morning. All fast: work was carried out on the outside of the course proper, which was in good order.

Golden Glass beat Queen Emerald over five furkmgs in Imin 9sec. Joy Ride, Prettyman, .and Sleepy Sol were in that order at the end of five furlongs, run in Imin 9sec.

Gala Day did seven furlongs in Imin 38 l-ssec. , •

TJralla and Pelham were together at the end of six furlongs, which took Imin 20 ' l-ssec.

Gold Jacket was in front of Tresor at the end of a mile and a quarter, run in 2min'27sec.

Lady Rewa, Gold Fern, and Cohesion finished as named over four furlongs in 54 l-ssec. .

Weka beat Sulla in a foui furlong run the time being 52 l-ssec. Shirley, alone, did four furlongs, taking 52 2-ssec.
