The Paris correspondent of "The Times" says the ceremony which attended the hoisting of the red flag over the Soviet Embassy in Paris aroused general criticism: It was done with a provocative display of Bolshevism. The members of the Embassy staff and a Communist choir assembled in the courtyard, where, after a short address by M. Krassin, they sang the "Intemationalo," and broke into shouts of triumph as the Soviet flag fluttered out over the roof.
■The Opposition newspapers describe the whole proceeding as positive confirmation of their fears that the Soviet Embassy in Paris is to be converted into the centre .of Bolshevist propaganda in France.
