SANDERS CUP TRIAL
ANOTHER WIN FOB ALL BLACK.
All Black scored her second win over Wellesloj) in the fifth Sanders Cup trial, held on the harbour last evening. There was a good north-westerly wind, and a heavy sea made things interesting for a 1 while. The course comprised a lead to Jerningham Buoy, a beat to Coromandel Buoy, and a run back to the finishing line off Clyde Quay Wharf. -The boats, from a good start, kept on fairly even terms during the first part of the-dis-tance, but All Black rounded Jeiuingham Buoy 11 seconds ahead of Wellesley. Both craft made a Ion? board towards Somes Island, and Wellesley here showed to better advantage, clearing Coromandel 57 seconds in front of her rival. All Black had no difficulty, how-, ever, in overtaking Wellesley oh the run home, and she finally crossed the line to win by 28 'seconds.
\Yelle.sley has now won three trials to All Black's two. The next "i-api .wfll take place to-morrow evening.
