_ Councillor Luckie expressed the opinion that the idiscussion was premature, for, though the matter was- not sub judice, negotiations between council and residents would no doubt be continued ■ Councillor Gaudin said; that he believed that as soon as the grit nuisance was stopped the complaints would cease altogether; there would then be no depreciation of property.
