SUNDAY WITH THE FAIPULE
The Samoan faipule attended Divine ■service on Sunday morning at the Newtown Congregational Church. There was
a large congregation present at the service. The Rev. Frank de Lisle delivered an address on "The Unity of Be-) lievers," which; was translated by Mr. Jd. S. Griffin, the leader of the party, lhe children from the Sunday school took part by singing two suitable hymns. In the afternoon the faipule attended the welcome arranged by the combined Congregational Sunday Schools, at the Cambridge Terrace Congregational Church. The Rev. A. W, 'M'Millan (i:\te of Kachwa, India) led in prayer. Many | bright hymns were sung by the combined schools, and the Samoan visitors responded, with a 1 hymn in their own tongue, one. of their number, Toelupe, replying' to the address of welcome. . ■ . ■ . ■ ■•■-.....■
The lesson was read by Mr. J.D. Hutchin, and Mr. W. Mill, of the Terrace Sunday School, welcomed the visitors. The faipule1 afterwards attended the strangers' tea at the V.M.C.A. . ~;
