ivia Ora Lodge No. 14, R.A.0.8. (NiZ.O.) held its weekly meeting on Saturday evening last. Primo M'Cleland, P.P., presided over a large attendance. During the evening Brss. T. J. Gordon, C.P., and J. Morris, C.P., were the recipients of engraved jewels,, suitably Inscribed, as a remembrance of their elevMion to primo's rank." After thanks had.been .returned for the honours, the lodge went into harmony, and instrumental,' vocal, and elocutionary numbers were rendered by various brothers. Bros. Griggs and Morris acted its Accompanists. The usual toasts were proposed and hpnoured. The rainiest place in the world, Cherrapunji, ill Eastern Bengal, has had ;t rainfall of more than 137 inches in two weeks.
